Heathrow has partnered with WiFi company, Boingo, to offer passengers in all its terminals WiFi speeds of up to 100 megabytes per second.
Boingo has also said in a statement that passengers will have no time limit when using the WiFi at the airport.
The new service uses Passpoint technology to deliver secure WiFi across the terminals, allowing passengers to roam between WiFi and cellular connections. Boingo will be upgrading the wireless network across the airport to ensure bandwidth capacity, and has already installed two new high-speed Internet links as part of the upgrade.
Passengers who are already members of the Heathrow Rewards loyalty programme can earn 100 points by signing in to the new WiFi network with their Rewards account.
